The range is available as E.C.C/S.W.A. cable where several steel strands are replaced by tinned hard-drawn copper wires.
This provides a ready-made earth continuity conductor in preference to utilizing either the steel wire armour or the 4th core in a standard cable.

Specifications

This specification uses the identification system where the base colour of one core of a pair, is the band colour on the other core, e.g. WHITE-blue, BLUE-white. This cable may be used with IDC connectors (LJUs) or terminated by wire wrapping or soldering.
1/0.5mm tinned annealed copper, covered with 0.15mm PVC insulation and a white PVC outer sheath.
These cables conform to the requirements of British telecom Specifications CW 1308

Specifications

For use in audio-visual applications, this cable is designed for use with scart connectors allowing all functions to be supplied via one lead. Comprises: 6 miniature and 2 subminiature coaxial cores and one 4-core cable with a hook up wire and drain wire. Cores are colour coded and wrapped in aluminised tape with a PVC outher sheath.
Operating temperature -20ºC to 70ºC
